Nur Alia Binti Omar believes that, to become a successful real-estate agent , have to implement value based-selling which focus on how the property will provide value to the customer in order to get trust by customer. And also, independent, confident, discipline, knowledgeable, enthusiasm and multitasking skills also helps her to become Malaysia Top 100 Outstanding Real Estate Agent. 

  1. Why did you choose to enter the real estate industry?

The reason I choose to enter real estate industry is to achieve financial freedom. And, I just realized my passion for real estate not just in doing sales but also in real estate investment. I choose this industry is also due to the flexible nature of work where I can spend more time with my family.  

  

  1. What are the entry standards for entering this industry?

Study about real estate turnover, flow in real estate transactions, real estate market trends, attend more trainings, meet the leader often for coaching and learn about online/digital marketing.

  1. What qualities do you think a real estate agent should possess to succeed in this industry?

Independent, cconfidence, discipline, knowledgeable, enthusiasm & multitasking Skills

  1. How did you stand out in the industry and make customers to choose you?

Instead of doing hard selling, I chose to do value based-selling which focus on how the property will provide value to the customer. I offered customer guidelines to focus on the customer’s needs so that they can make decision based on “potential value” they will get by buying the property.  

  

  1. In your personal sales career, what has left you with impressive memories?

My first case as being a real estate negotiator, the house that I’m helping to sell is almost in process to auction. Owner only have 2 months left before his house close for auction. Few rejections on buyers’ loan submission in prior. Luckily, I found a very dedicated banker, she tried her very best until buyers’ loan approved. In the process of SPA signing, lawyer inform that the house will be in auction on the next day. Need customer to pay more cash to cover the outstanding on behalf owner and one more luck, lawyer able to appeal the case. I manage to help a young couple to successfully buy their dream house with price below RM150K from MV.  And I’m happy!

  1. So far, who do you want to thank the most?

Alhamdulillah for all HIS gives. Firstly, I would like to thank my family for all the support, my backbone lovely daughter Nur ‘Aafiyah Amani. Next, thanks to the Managing Director of Firdaus Associates Property Professionals, Sr Firdaus Musa who has given me the opportunity to promote as Team Leader. Followed by my mentor which is my lovely mother in property field HOD CC Nooris, former leader KK Toh, former leader Tony Kee, my great team FARE STARS group, my family members, the networking agencies and my agency for the great platform helping shape my career and professional life and showed me how to transform my mistakes into skills.

  1. How do you lead the team and make it easier for team members to succeed in this industry?

Always follow up team members their work progress and sales. Teamwork is very important in a team. Giving treatment equally among the members and give support and solve any issues or circumstances related to real estate.

  1. How should a new real estate agent choose a real estate agency?

I would prefer an agency where i can grow professionally, personally, and financially and I believe with the strong leadership will lead to long term success.

  1. With the rapid development of science and technology, how do you think real estate agencies should respond?

By improving & innovating online Marketing, virtual viewing & online closing.

  1. What are your personal plans for the future?

Becoming a successful investor, well-known real estate agent & to help more people to achieve their dream homes & become a good leader.
