In 2017, well before the explosion of live-stream commerce in Southeast Asia, Mr. Hui Chan Yew launched his own Facebook channel—“EU (一优直播平台)”—streaming live product sales directly to consumers. It began with electrical appliances, but it would soon become something much more meaningful.

The turning point came with the illness and eventual passing of his father. Regular hospital visits, long pharmacy queues, and exorbitant costs for supplements opened his eyes. Why are so many people falling ill? Why is wellness such a privilege? The answers ignited a powerful purpose: to make health accessible and affordable to all.

Thus was born EU GROUP SDN BHD. With a mission grounded in empathy and fueled by science, EU set out to offer health supplements that were effective, reliable, and—most importantly—affordable. But Mr. Hui’s strategy was never just product-centric; it was deeply educational. He believed in empowering customers through knowledge.
