Kristy Liew, founder and CEO of INK Marketing, has successfully positioned her company as a leading player in Malaysia’s Point of Sale Materials (POSM) industry since its inception in 2007. With her exceptional leadership skills and insightful marketing strategies, Kristy has driven INK Marketing to great heights. Under her leadership, the company has established long-term partnerships with global giants like Nestle and Etika Group, offering innovative offline marketing solutions for retailers and consumer brands.
Kristy’s first venture, however, was not successful. Lacking experience, she faced product quality issues, leading to a significant loss of clients and ultimately forcing her to shut down the business after two years. This failure, however, became a valuable lesson, teaching her that creativity and hard work alone were not enough for success. She realized the importance of strict management and attention to detail. When she founded INK Marketing in 2007, Kristy implemented rigorous process management and quality control, earning her clients’ trust. She also invested in building an in-house factory to offer end-to-end services, from design to production, ensuring better oversight. Leading her team, she introduced the latest machinery and technology from overseas, positioning INK Marketing at the forefront of the industry.
Today, INK Marketing is a shining example of how a local Malaysian company can expand into the global market. Success, in Kristy’s view, is continuous effort and maintaining curiosity about new things.
